How to Uninstall HP PhotoSmart

The HP PhotoSmart All-in-One Printer is most commonly used for printing photos at home and is in fact a printer, scanner, and copier.

For Windows 7 and Windows Vista

  1. Click the Windows button on the Windows taskbar.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Click Programs and Features to open its corresponding window.
  4. In the currently installed programs list, select HP PhotoSmart.
  5. Click the Uninstall button.
  6. Click Yes if a User Account Control dialog box appears.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions. 

For Windows XP

  1. Click the Start menu, select Settings, and then select Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel window, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Locate and select HP PhotoSmart in the Currently installed programs list.
  4. Click the Remove button.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Verify if HP Software is uninstalled
To check if the software is uninstalled, perform the simple steps below:

  1. Click Start and All Programs.
  2. Click HP. HP PhotoSmart should no longer be listed.

If you can’t uninstall HP PhotoSmart using normal uninstallation methods
