How to uninstall Image Zone Express via Add or Remove Programs

For Windows XP

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Double-click Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel Window.
  5. Locate and select Image Zone Express in the Currently installed programs list.
  6. Click Remove.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal process.

For Windows 7 and Windows Vista

  1. Click the Windows logo in your taskbar.
  2. Click the Start Search box, type add or remove programs and press Enter.
  3. Locate and select Image Zone Express in the Currently installed programs list.
  4. Click Uninstall.
  5. Click Yes if a User Account Dialog box appears.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process.

After you uninstall Image Zone Express, run a registry scan using an advanced registry cleaner such as RegGenie to ensure that all the Image Zone Express registry entries are permanently removed from your Windows computer.

I’m unable to uninstall Image Zone Express using the Add or Remove Programs utility

In some cases, you may find that nothing happens when you select Image Zone Express and click Remove or Uninstall in the Add or Remove Programs.

If you can’t uninstall Image Zone Express via Add or Remove Programs, then you may use any of the following methods to remove Image Zone Express from your Windows computer:

Method 1

Download and install HP PhotoSmart Essential 1.9 and then uninstall this software via Add or Remove Programs. When you uninstall, HP PhotoSmart Essential 1.9 overrides HP Image Zone Express.

The only thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to download PhotoSmart Essential 1.9 and not any newer version. In case PhotoSmart Essential 1.9 is not available on the HP official website, you may have to perform a search on the web to locate the software. 

Method 2

Insert your HP CD and run ImageZoneExpress.msi under setup\imagezoneexpress.

Next, use the Search utility in Windows to determine if the following files are still present:

HPZidr12.dll
HPZinw12.exe
HPZipm12.exe
HPZipr12.dll
HPZipt12.dll
HPZisn12.dll

If these files are still present, then delete them manually.

Method 3

  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then press Enter.
  2. In the Registry Editor, click the Edit menu and then click Find.
  3. In the Find what box, type HP Image Zone Express.
  4. Click the Find Next button repeatedly till you find a key name LocalPackage with the value C:\Windows\Installer\d63e8.ms (this is the HP Image Zone Express Uninstaller).

    5. Note: The exact filename may be different on your computer, so look for a value that is similar to the one given above and ends with .msi)

  5. Click Start, click Run, and type the value of LocalPackage you that you found in Step 4 and press Enter to launch Image Zone Express Uninstaller.  
  6. Choose the Remove option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process.

Method 4

Download and install Perfect Uninstaller, which is an effective and easy-to-use Windows uninstaller program. Open Perfect Uninstaller and select the Force Uninstall option to forcefully uninstall Image Zone Express.
