How to Uninstall Malwarebytes

The Malwarebytes program is a computer protection program that protects your computer from malware and unauthorized intrusions. In case you are facing some problems with your Malwarebytes program or do not find its services satisfactory, then you can easily uninstall this program using either of the two methods discussed below:

Method 1 – Remove Malwarebytes Using Add or Remove Programs

All Windows computers come with a built-in uninstaller called Add or Remove programs, through which you can easily remove any kind of unwanted software.

To remove Malwarebytes using Add or Remove Programs, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Method 2 – Remove Malwarebytes Using Uninstaller Tool

  1. Click Start and then click All Programs.
  2. Click Malwarebytes.
  3. Click Uninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
  4. Click the Continue button when a pop-up window appears asking you to confirm if you wish to continue.
  5. Click Yes when a pop-up window appears asking you to confirm if you wish to remove Malwarebytes.
  6. Click OK when the uninstallation process is complete.
  7. Restart Windows.

  2. Press and hold the F8 key as Window reloads.

  4. Double-click the Perfect Uninstaller icon to open its corresponding window.
  5. Click the Force Uninstall tab.
  6. Select C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware in the Scanning Program path box.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Manually Uninstall Malwarebytes

To manually uninstall Malwarebytes, you need to complete the following tasks:

Task 1 – Terminate Malwarebytes Processes

Task 3 – Delete Malwarebytes Folders

Task 4 – Delete Malwarebytes Registry Entries
